Alex and Stoney came to me with a secret.
They wanted to throw an engagement party, invite all of their family and friends and hit them with a big surprise.
They would get married!
I was excited about the idea but had to be very careful not to say anything on my facebook page as I like to update my status and say something like “I’m so excited about so and so’s wedding.”
The party was at the Reata rooftop, one of my favorite places to go to in Fort Worth. Their food is delicious and they have the friendliest staff.
As the guests arrived and enjoyed some drinks and appetizers, with her maid of honor and mom’s help Alex sneaked out to put on her dress.
Stoney gathered everyone and made the announcement that they have decided to “end the engagement”.
Instead, they would get married.
As it was expected, everyone was surprised and a couple of minutes later Alex was given away by her Dad to her now husband Stoney.
It was one of the most beautiful and intimate ceremonies I have shot in a while.
Alex and Stoney left for their honeymoon the next morning to start their lives together as husband and wife.
Now that they are back from Hawaii, we will be doing a Day After session with the two of them.
Alex tells me she has a nice honeymoon tan she wants to show off. 🙂
Congrats you two!!!
I can’t wait to work with you again.
