I was very excited from the moment we booked the session, I’ve worked with Vanja before and I had a blast the first time. As the day got closer I started to feel nervous about the way the pictures would turn out and the day of I was a complete wreck! However, from the moment I stepped into Vanja’s studio she and Meagan, her makeup artist made me feel very comfortable! They are both very warm and friendly and made the experience amazing!
Meagan is very talented and I was extremely pleased with my hair and makeup, I even ended up booking her for hair and makeup for a bridal party I am a part of!
I cannot say enough good things about Vanja, she is very friendly and genuine. There was never an awkward or dull moment, our session lasted a few hours and we laughed and talked the entire time.
When we scheduled my appointment to see the final images I was very nervous about how they’d turned out but as soon as the slideshow she’d put together started I was in awe at how beautiful they are! Everything about them is perfect, the lighting, the setup and of course her photography skills are amazing and the quality of her work can be seen from a mile away. I also loved the fact that I got to take my printed images home that same day and I’ve looked at them at least once a day since!
The experience was wonderful, not only was I pampered and treated like a supermodel the whole day but I also have gorgeous pictures to show for it! Vanja is such a wonderful person and amazing photographer that not only would I recommend them but will be making sure to schedule another with her.
You know those days you spend with your kids and everything about the day is perfect? Rare, I know!!! I had one of those days yesterday! ???? I will treasure it always!!! I know my kids are older but they still pick at each other and someone usually gets mad. (I was an only child and as my kids say, I just don’t understand what it’s like to have a sibling). I can’t wait to see the results of our day spent together! Thank you Vanja & Meagan for putting us at ease & all the laughs and silliness!
Before my session I was nervous but so excited to feel special and dressed up. I have had my makeup done before in the past and was never really happy with how it turned out. I like more neutral makeup look and I showed Meagan a picture of what I wanted and she did it almost exactly! She did an incredible job and as always loved my hair curled. I would definitely recommend her for any future clients of Vanja or anyone looking for a makeup artist.
Vanja was so welcoming and friendly. I really enjoyed getting to spend time with her getting to know her while I was getting my hair and makeup done. Throughout the shoot she was beyond encouraging and made me feel like a model enjoying the spotlight. The final images where more than I imagined. I felt like our meeting to see the photos was so well done. She had a video streaming of all the pictures and printed out some incredible images. It was such a great experience – I have and continue to recommend it to friends!
I felt nervous before my session. I was also anxious but excited about the possibilities.
This was my second time having photoshoot makeup/hair done (first was my wedding August 2015). My bridal makeup artist commented that it’s normally harder to get Asian women’s makeup just right, so I did go into this second makeup & hair session with some doubts. Megan did a beautiful job!!
Vanja made me feel very comfortable during the session. She was so fun and laid back, didn’t make me feel nervous at all once we got started. Her direction on posing, etc were really helpful.
The final product was beautiful, it was better than I could have imagined. It’s always interesting to look at yourself from another point of view, in this case Vanja and her beautiful photography and camera work. Seeing the resulting images boosted my confidence.
The boudoir portion of the photographs was a gift for my husband 🙂 he loved them!
This was a new experience that turned out to be comfortable and fun. Would 100% recommend to a friend.
I was a little nervous before the session, but once Vanja helped me pick all my outfits and get ready, everything fell into place. She and Meagan were super sweet and it helped take any pressure off.
Meagan took the time to ask what colors I like and don’t like, rather than just taking initiative. Sometimes I like a little input, but other times I know how I want to look in pictures. It was a good girls day at your studio.
The session was tons of fun and couldn’t have done it with anyone else. Vanja definitely made me feel more relaxed and it was nice having a few rooms in the studio and not sharing it with anyone else.
The pictures turned out beautiful and I wanted all of them.
I did this session just for myself! It was a humbling experience and definitely made me feel like a princess!
I had a blast and wish I could do this more and more. I have actually recommended Vanja to several friends. I did a Boudoir shoot a few years ago at another studio in Dallas. While that was also fun, Vanja did a much better job and I felt more comfortable. It wasn’t just a simple hour photo shoot and she didn’t limit my outfits; she helped me pick. I didn’t have that the first time, it was more of just an in and out session. So yes, I have recommended Vanja personally over anyone else.
