Mandy and Ryan got married at my favorite venue, Marty Leonard Chapel in Fort Worth. Yes, I am bias because this is where we got married. 🙂 Mandy and Ryan planned for their ceremony to start after sunset and they came to me specifically because of my lighting expertise at night. Mandy got ready at her maid of honor’s house with all of her bridesmaids while Ryan was hanging out with the groomsmen at The Worthington Hotel in downtown Fort Worth. Rhonda Baker of Precisely as Planned was the day of coordinator and she did an amazing job making sure everything ran smoothly all day.
All of you probably know by now that I love ring shots. But I am seriously in love with these rings and matching Mr and Mrs boxes. Mandy’s gorgeous ring came from Diamond Doctor in Dallas, TX.
Mandy and Ryan chose to do a first look and see each other before the ceremony so that we could do a majority of their portraits outside while it was still daylight. The timing was perfect. We captured the natural light portraits right before the ceremony and were able to get some dramatic shots at night after the ceremony.
Look at Ryan tearing up as his gorgeous bride is walking down the aisle!
Marty Leonard Chapel is simply gorgeous at night. The architecture is amazing and I never get tired of shooting there. Mandy looked simply breathtaking in her Morilee by Madeline Gardner wedding dress.
After their beautiful ceremony at Marty Leonard Chapel, Mandy and Ryan had their reception at Chateau at Forest Park. All I can say is this group knows how to party! This was definitely my kind of wedding. I feel like we got a million dance photos, and that’s a good thing!
I just love the way Ryan looks at Mandy. You can tell he simply adores her. And he obviously knows how to make her laugh. 🙂
I always strive to create something unique for each couple at their wedding. This shot below was created by putting two candles close together and then shooting through the candle flame with the couple in between. This, along with three off camera flashes strategically placed around the couple, created this beautiful (almost magical) effect you see in the photo below. It’s one of my favorite reception images I have ever taken. Having gorgeous subjects helps too!
Congratulations, Mandy and Ryan. I couldn’t be happier for you two. Thank you so much for allowing me to capture this special day for you. I’m so happy I was able to be a party of it.

Thank you, thank you for the most beautiful pictures I’ve ever seen and for capturing this extremely special day for my sister, Mandy, and my new brother-in-law, Ryan. You did a phenomenal job and I know you’ve made my sister proud. 🙂
HELLO! I noticed your gorgeous pictures at Chateau of forest park! I couldn’t be more pleased with how you nailed them with the limited lighting there. I would love to hire you as our photographer but before I get my hopes up too high I will just let you know now that I’m at a $5000 budget and so far I can handle the venue at 1,700 and the Dj I have in place at 2,000 so with that in mind what can you bring to the table price wise
