I have no words to describe how excited I am to share this session with you all. I had a blast working with Reagan and her mom Aimee. While planning Reagan’s session, I found out that she plays the marimba and would really like to include it as part of her senior photos. Since the marimba is a little too big to fit into a car, we had to go to it. We decided to do the session in Granbury close to Reagan’s high school so that we can finish the day with some photos at the band hall inside of Granbury High School. Aimee was worried that the band hall wouldn’t be pretty enough for photos since all they have is just some white walls. I told her not to worry and I immediately got excited about this challenge. We ended up bringing the smoke machine and using colored gels on our flashes in order to get some dramatic photos of Reagan playing the marimba. I love pretty much everything about my job, but this has to be one of the things I like the most. Coming up with ways to create unique images for each session is what I am most excited about. Thank you Aimee and Reagan for trusting me to capture this special time for Reagan!
We did Reagan’s big reveal last night so I can finally share the images with everyone. Enjoy the video below, followed by some of my favorite images from Reagan’s session.
Please feel free to leave a comment at the bottom with some feedback about the session.
Big thank you to Meagan Bechtel of MegB for doing a fabulous job with Reagan’s hair and makeup.
Love, love, love these.
