It’s been exactly one year since I photographed Mayra and Daniel’s wedding at Colonial Country Club.
We have been talking about doing a day after session for them for a little while but the weather was either too hot or too cold and we kept putting it off.
Finally, all the stars lined up perfectly and we were able to schedule a session for them.
I suggested the State Fair for something completely out of the ordinary.
And boy, am I glad I did!
My assistant and I had an absolute blast with these two.
They were a major attraction and everyone wanted to take photos of them and with them.
We were able to get on the merry go round and take photos while enjoying the ride.
Mayra even won a game of shooting water guns and got a Despicable Me stuffed Minion as a prize (which she later donated to a sweet little boy who was waiting for his dad to win one for him with no luck).

WOW, Vanja! The location was AWESOME! That was a brilliant and out-of-the-box idea! The couple was also very adorable!
